The design of the pocket park was a very pleasant task for us, not only due to the very fact of designing the land development, but also due to the possibility of designing a green area in the center of Krakow. We have tried to create a breath between the cramped city infrastructure, in the middle of Grzegorzecka Street in Krakow, which is not pedestrian-friendly zone.
The park itself is small, its area is only 5000 m² around the existing building of the former Urology Clinic of the University of Warsaw in Krakow. However, in the functional program, it was possible to fit several positions: leisure part for people who want silence, recreational for kids, gastronomic for hungry passers-by and two mini parking lots with provision of places for bicycles. In addition, we have also redesigned the entrance area to the building. For investors, we have prepared a video that comprehensively presents the project.
