Historic outline of Piłsudski Square in Warsaw film

The task was to model the building of not existing Saxon Palace and its surroundings on the basis of historical analyses. The purpose of this was to present the palace and the development context in the form of a short films showing different historical periods. During the work, the 3D modelling team mapped with high precision the Saxon Palace and its details. The surrounding frontage development of the buildings on Krolewska Street, Bruhl Palace with sculptural elements, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral with the bell tower and Kronenberg Palace. The non-existent monument of the “Loyalist officers” was mapped on the basis of historical documentation. Thanks to the use of a point cloud system, it was possible to recreate the monument to Jozef Poniatowski in the project’s virtual space. The culmination of the project is the conscious education of the public and learning about the historical context related to the planned reconstruction of the Saxon Palace.
